Nos hallamos, en mi opinion, ante la mejor pelicula de Zack Snyder.

Y que nadie se imagine cosas raras: es una pelicula de animacion ingenuo protagonizada por animales, y no cuenta una historia sobrecogedora, ni adapta un comic laureado ni contiene oleadas de violencia. No tiene mucho que avistar con sus otros trabajos.

Pero lo que si tiene es una gran coraje. Yo opino que el amenaza por si solo no hace que una pelicula sea buena en absoluto, pero creo que la coraje si. De actividad estoy un poco harto de avistar encaramar peliculas supuestamente arriesgadas que no albergan mas que limpio esnobismo y resentimiento, que fingen existir artisticas cuando sencillomente buscan existir "academicamente correctas y precisas".

Y por coraje entiendo en este ocasión hacer una pelicula de animacion esencialmente para niños con avistardadera aventura, manifiesto heroismo, avistardadera magia y avistardadera emocion. Normalmente este tipo de peliculas son esencialmente comicas, con una marcada diferencialidad entre el conjunto dirigido al publico ingenuo y los pequeños detalles dirigidos a adultos.

Pues bien, "Legend of the Guardians" no entra en ese ambito. Es una pelicula de animacion puramente ingenuo, dirigida a los mas pequeños de la vivienda y muy orgullosa de existirlo. Y es fantasia dramatica y mas bien poco comica; de actividad, la premisa no alberga comedia. Dentro de toda su epicidad se alberga sin duda alegria, finura y unas cuantas risas, pero la comedia no tiene lugar.

Y no es una pelicula que parodie el heroismo fábulalogico con animales: es una pelicula de heroismo fábulalogico con todas las letras, pero protagonizado por animales.

Por supuesto, se trata de una pelicula sencilla que no explota el potencial de su premisa como si aprovechan la suya otras tantas peliculas de fantasia. Incluso me atre avistaria a decir que en algunos puntos peca de sencillo y de previsible. Sin embargo, es un placer avistar una pelicula de animacion que apuesta por la existiriedad antes que por la comicidad, pues puede agregar al espectador de una forma insolita.

¿Por que digo esto? Porque alguno ya con sus añitos, cuando vea esta pelicula se sentira de nuevo como un niño y sabra, sin la menor duda, que si la hubiera visto muchos años antes le habria maravillado y habria sido una de sus favoritas.

Y es que con esa animacion tan maravillosa... esos movimientos de esas aves tan bellas aprendiendo a volar, esos paisajes, esas batallas aereas con garras de acero... Yo creia que los de Pixar no tenian rival en estas tecnicas, pero esto realmente me ha impresionado.

Si Beatrix Potter y JRR Tolkien agregaran su obra, un modelo existiria esto. Echenle un ojo, amigos; merece la multa mucho.

Recomendacion especial para los mas pequeños y para los papas.
